Apparently you bake a cake, rip it up to bits, put the icing in with it and make balls out of it. You then dip those balls into chocolate and roll into other things if you wish. Holy cow what fun! So I made some.
My boys teachers both love me and my new found baking addiction as they are the ones who benefit from my craziness.
This is what the boys took to school today - I think they came out great.
The white ones are carrot cake with cream cheese icing - dipped into white chocolate and rolled in pecans and coconut flakes. .
The dark ones are german chocolate cake with coconut pecan icing - dipped into chocolate.
