I almost feel guilty when I talk or blog about him. I feel like I am bragging. But I'm not really.
The truth is: He is amazing. He is good for me and to me. Treats my boys and I like I could have only dreamed to have found some to treat us. And it's always been this way since the beginning and I've come to understand that it's just who he is.
The reason I am prefacing all of this is that he really went crazy for Christmas.
Mark is really into 'experiences' and 'adventures'. We both like doing things and going places together and this just falls right into all of this.
I had mentioned in the past that I liked Brendan Frasier as an actor, and Mark remembers everything. He is extremely thoughtful and seems to tuck things away for another time where he can use it.
We are talking about Christmas I'm teasing him to tell me what he got me. He tells me he'll give me a hint. I say 'ok'. He tells me that I need to request 2 days off in January, from work. I ask why. He tells me that we are going on an adventure. I ask where. He tells me NYC. I ask 'what' and he won't tell me, only that the 'event' is on a specific date and that we need to go then. hmmmmm....
Later that evening we are chatting online and he is giving up hints. Come to find out - he is taking me to a MOVIE PREMIER in NYC in January. A Brendan Frasier movie -InkHeart. We will walk down the red carpet. Attend the movie premier. And then the after party where the stars of the movie will be.
I was like peeing my pants! Who gets to do these things? Talk about an experience! An adventure!
I'm very excited and VERY nervous. The program that he got this 'adventure' through -has people post their experiences at different settings on a website (VIP concerts, movie premiers, etc.) and it's a very high likelyhood that we'll meet the people that are in the movie. I am a nervous wreck about this. Yes, they put their pants on like we do - but I've like loved Brendan Frasier since Encino Man which was forever ago.
I've decided that I am going to this event like this - I am going on an amazing date with my amazing boyfriend - and Brendan Frasier will be there as well. :P
ok ok one more thing...he made me open a present last night. Its a box with the information for the Movie Premier with a note on the top from him. (♥)And underneath that is snowcaps, popcorn and swedish fish - and under that - The Mummy Returns & Encino Man DVD's ... how thougthtful he is. Here I go, feeling like I am bragging again. *sigh*
