what do i want to be?

So I lost my job. Now what?

I thought doing something like radiology or ultra sound tech ...
I called about the Radiology program through the hospital which starts in July. Well it was filled last year but now they are taking applications for July of 2010. I simply can not wait that long.

So I poked around on the DOL website to see what classes they stand behind. This means that they will pay me unemployment for as long as I'm in this class, as well as possibly fund part of the class. Right on! There is an LPN class at the local Tech school. I start thinking about this. If I do this class, and get into the hospital and then decided to do something else (like radiology or ultra sound tech)- it would probably be easier to slide into something else once I'm already employed in the medical field. Soooo I sent in my application and waited.

Today I got a testing date and am very excited about this. It just means that something is in place. Knowing that plan of action - just makes me feel better, rather than being in limbo about what next. This is a real possibility and I am excited.
